The Cativa process (using an iridum catalyst) needs a similar page. It is currently only mentioned in passing on the Acetic acid article.--Garsanllean 12:30, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Cativa process now exists. --Rifleman 82 16:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I assume this is named after the Monsanto chemical company? A brief section on the history would be useful. --Delirium 05:13, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In the section "Catalytic cycle" the bold numbers in the text are not in the image, but I think they should be. That would it make easier to read at least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:32, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In the section "Tennessee Eastman acetic anhydride process", it says it is related to the Monsanto process. What does the word [related] mean here? Is the process [dependent] on the Monsanto process being done before hand or is it a completely separate process that happens to be [similar]? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 23:48, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
